The Tac-45 allows users to aim down the sights in 125 milliseconds, and the Tac-45 has good hip-fire accuracy, in addition to fast switch speeds. The Tac-45 allows users to move at 100% of the base movement speed and strafe at 84% of the base movement speed. The Tac-45 has the standard slick handling aspects one comes to expect from a handgun. The Tac-45 has a low centerspeed of 1100, but given the weapon's close quarter purpose and lower fire rate, the Tac-45 shouldn't cause too many problems with accuracy. Horizontal recoil is mostly irrelevant on the Tac-45, although the vertical recoil is a tad heavy considering it always kicks upwards. The Tac-45 always kicks up with a value of 25 or 50, and the Tac-45 has recoil values of 35 to the left and right. The iron sights are perfectly clear, and the Tac-45's recoil per shot is manageable. The Tac-45's accuracy is decent for a handgun, but poor overall. This overall fire rate makes the Tac-45 punish missed shots more than most other handguns, although considering the Tac-45's prowess up close, it is a perfectly acceptable fire rate. The Tac-45 has a maximum firecap of 625 RPM, or just a little over ten shots per second. It is semi-automatic, and has the second slowest overall fire rate among all handguns. One of the Tac-45's weaknesses is its fire rate. Although the Five-Seven bests the Tac-45 in almost all other facets, the Tac-45's much longer two shot kill range makes the Tac-45 a lethal weapon in close quarters. Between 25 and 32.5 meters, the Tac-45 will deal 24 damage per bullet, needing five shots to kill. Between 18.75 and 25 meters, the Tac-45 will deal 33 damage per bullet, needing four shots to kill. Between ten and 18.75 meters, the Tac-45 will deal 45 damage per bullet, needing three shots to kill. At any range short of ten meters, the Tac-45 will deal 55 damage per bullet, needing two shots to kill. The Tac-45 is a moderately high damage, moderate-range pistol. The Tac-45 is unlocked at level 4 with Create-A-Class, although it requires an unlock token. ![]() It is also used by the ISI as sidearm in the campaign mission " Fallen Angel" and can be picked up by the player.
